The Dalgona Coffee Craze!

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a lovely day. I caved in and decided to try out the infamous Dalgona Coffee. It has become a Tik Tok and Instagram sensation. It is surprisingly so good! It tastes like an ice latte and it has definitely become an obsession for me to drink this every morning. I decided to stop after 4 consecutive mornings because it was a little too much sugar for me. I'm not used to having so much sugar in my coffees, but it is a really nice dessert coffee.

Dalgona Coffee

Ingredients:
1 tbsp instant coffee
1 tbsp sugar
​1 tbsp hot boiling water
1/2 cup any milk of choice
Ice cubes

1. Take a small deep bowl and add your instant coffee, sugar, and hot water.
​2.  Mix ingredients until instant coffee and sugar has dissolved.

​3. Whip mixture with your choice of a whisk, hand mixer, or frother. I would recommend using a frother or hand mixture. A whisk will be more difficult to use and could take 15 minutes to complete.
​4. Whip until mixture changes into a creamy tan color and produces stiff peaks.

5. Pour milk into glass and spoon coffee cream mixture on top of milk, mix in until cream is incorporated into the milk. Add ice cubes.
​6. Enjoy!
